We’ve reached the grand finale! Below is your pocket-sized playbill for our last four days. Screenshot it, tape it to the fridge, tattoo it on your arm—whatever works.
Monday, June 2 – Shakespeare on the Green
1:00 p.m. curtain: 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream on the north lawn.
Family seating opens at 12:45 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Costumes come to school labeled in a bag; we’ll handle the quick-changes backstage (a.k.a. the art room).
Walkathon Reward #1 after school: Students will partake in an epic ice cream bar with all the flavors and toppings.
Tuesday, June 3 – Annual Walkathon
10:00 a.m. start: Students run, walk, skip, or dance around the 5 and 1 mile loops.
Volunteers arrive 9:00 a.m.
Sneakers, refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen. We’ll supply the cheering section—and lunch!
Optional Half day: Parents are welcome to cut the day short and take the runner home after the walkathon.
Wednesday, June 4 – All-School Field Trip
Option A: Meet directly at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Beach Lot, 9:30 a.m.
Option B: Drivers/Riders/Chaperones leaving from school 8:45 a.m. sharp.
Pack a disposable lunch, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and a Metropark pass or $10/car for entry.
Thursday, June 5 – Graduation & Half-Day
11:00 a.m. ceremony in the auditorium (doors open 10:30 a.m.).
HALF DAY: Early pickup 12:15 p.m.; no after-care. Expect happy tears and an outrageous number of photos.
Lost & Found last call: Anything unclaimed by Thursday afternoon will be donated to the mysterious realm of single mittens and rogue water bottles.
