The Family Teacher Association (FTA)

At Charlotte Mason Community School, we believe that a strong partnership between families and educators is essential to fostering a thriving, supportive, and engaging learning environment. The Family Teacher Association (FTA) is at the heart of this collaboration, working hand-in-hand with teachers and school leadership to enrich our students' educational experience and build a vibrant school community.

Our Mission

The mission of the FTA is to unite families, teachers, and the broader school community to support the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. We aim to create meaningful opportunities for parents to engage in their children's education, contribute to school initiatives, and strengthen the bonds within our community.

What We Do:

Supporting Teachers:
We work closely with teachers to provide resources, organize classroom volunteers, and enhance the overall learning experience for our students.

Fundraising:
The FTA coordinates fundraising activities to support school programs, special projects, and student scholarships. These efforts help ensure that Charlotte Mason Community School remains a place where every child can thrive.

Community Building:
We organize events that bring families together, such as Family Fun Nights, cultural celebrations, and holiday gatherings. These events foster a sense of belonging and strengthen our school community.

Parent Involvement:
The FTA encourages parents to take an active role in their children's education by volunteering in classrooms, participating in school events, and engaging in meaningful conversations with teachers and administrators.

Advocacy:
We advocate for the needs and concerns of families within the school, ensuring that the voices of our parents are heard and valued.
