Charlotte Mason Community School has a strong and rich curriculum, a dedicated and talented staff, small class size, and a supportive parent community; in short, the kind of educational environment needed to engage children and set them on the road to full and successful lives.
According to the 2010 US Census, Detroit's poverty level exceeds 34%. To reach out to students of all economic situations, tuition at CMCS is on a sliding scale, based on family income, and over 85% of our students receive financial aid. Additionally, we have been able to keep our expenses low through in-kind-services and through donations from generous individuals.
